Ben Böhmer’s Begin Again (Remixed) is out now, featuring remixes from niina, Barry Can’t Swim, MEUTE, Rezident, and more.

Ben Böhmer’s album Begin Again was dropped in late September 2021, and since, Anjunadeep fans haven’t been able to get enough. Having sold out a tour across 30 cities at the start of 2022, it’s safe to say the German composer is really impressing the dance community. To satisfy listeners’ needs for more, the Begin Again (Remixed) collection is out now, featuring reworks from artists niina, Barry Can’t Swim, The Blaze, Matador, HAAi, Rezident, and MEUTE.

One stand-out remix has to be MEUTE’s for the track ‘Begin Again.’ MEUTE is an eleven-piece, self-described, techno marching band from Germany that love putting their own spin on electronic tracks. Replacing the synths and drum patterns with horns and mallets is beyond impressive to hear. MEUTE keeps the emotion of the original track yet somehow brings even more emotion forward. The echoing of the horns in the beginning is relaxed, yet still has an energetic feel. It’s the perfect song to vibe to on a warm summer night.

A second stand-out track is ‘Fade To Blue‘ by Matador. The Irish producer showcases his versatile techno style in this remix. Starting simply with the kick and plucks of the synth pads, it then dives deeper into the techno realm. Bringing a bit of that heavier sound, it feels a little darker but remains light on the keys. This along with the arpeggio within the track is what brings this one to the top of the list, with its deep repeating kick on top of the rapid bass.

These two aren’t the only hits, the whole album is one to vibe with. Be sure to stream the album on your preferred platform today and let us know which remixes were your favorites in the comments!
