Shingo Nakamura Brings Focus As We Warm Up Spring With His New Mix

Sure as the sun brings us the warmth of springtime, Shingo Nakamura softly rains down beauty on his new progressive track “Focus.”

Talent rarely comes easy. In the case of Shingo Nakamura though, it sure flows elegantly from his productions. Last year, he gave us his fifth artist album Glow much to the beauty of fans and newcomers alike. In 2022, his quiet focus meant new music is surely coming. Amazingly, that focus literally produced a track called “Focus,” which instantly rekindles the sounds of the album.

Do not let that fool you though – there’s a refinement to the equation here. The mood feels more in line with the works from his older album, Days, but elevates thanks to refined knowledge and a polished approach. Atmospheric vocal elements provide a soft bed with the pad work to lay upon, while drawn-out string sections and some shimmering stabs gently ask you, “can you take this moment to be present and here?”

Along with the new track, Shingo celebrates the spring months by warming the souls of fans around the world with a special sonic excursion. Included in the tracklist are a number of Shingo’s own works from the past year, but also making the cut are tracks by Odsen, Kaiyan, Tagavaka, and Liam Thomas.
