Rising bass producers G-REX and RAVVA join forces for the collaborative three-track Everyday EP, out now on WAKAAN.

Electronic music producers G-REX and RAVVA have proven themselves to be two of the most dynamic artists in the bass music scene who continue to carve out space with each passing release. Their unmatched, creative sounds create a connection between their own individual flows. While RAVVA is known for his captivating snares and bass mentality, G-REX brings emphasized wubs front and center to make the combination of these two a perfect blend of hype and bass.

It was only a matter of time before G-REX and RAVVA came together to create some music and now they’ve gifted the bass community with the Everyday EP on WAKAAN. The title track, “Everyday,” originally arrived back in March to give everyone a taste of what’s in store. It’s clear why this track was chosen as it set the stage with low-pitched vocals, plucky synths, and grimey bass to keep listeners on their toes.

Once you’re strapped in for the ride “Needa” takes us all through a whirlwind of futuristic bass. Throwing in hints of hip-hop influence and plenty of warbled bass, this track keeps listeners wondering what G-REX and NAVVA have up their sleeves next. Then, “Encore,” exhibits just how diverse in their sound G-Rex and RAAVA can be with a house-fueled start to the ride to switch up the vibe. There’s no telling where this track is heading but soon enough you’re hit with a heavy offering of bass on the drop to warp your mind.

After a lot of different ideas we bounced back and forth and worked, these were the three that really stuck with us and came together the best. ‘Needa’ was the first track we finished, then ‘Encore’, and last was ‘Everyday’ which we ended up deciding on as the lead single and EP title.

G-REX and RAVVA are a duo we didn’t know we needed in the bass community. Listen to the Everyday EP on Spotify or your preferred platform, and let us know which of these tracks you loved the most in the comments!
