Bay Area DJ and producer Michael Bricker is celebrating the start of spring with a mix that will have you grooving throughout its runtime.
It can be difficult for artists to stand in the crowd in the ever-expanding dance music scene, yet there are some diamonds in the rough that are truly exceptional. One of those diamonds is located in the Bay Area and his name is Michael Bricker. Since first breaking onto the scene he’s proven his tastemaking and DJing abilities time and time again with impressive performances at venues like The Midway SF and festivals like EDC Las Vegas.
Last year saw Michael Bricker continue to flex his skills in the house and techno realm by dropping some serious heat when he took the stage, while also raising money for good causes as well. Now, in 2022, he’s gearing up for another massive run with recent performances in support of artists like Eli Brown, along with a whopping five-hour set at Monarch SF and a debut set in the metaverse for the Astromoji NFT project.
To celebrate his recent successes and mark the beginning of spring, Michael Bricker spun up an exclusive, two-hour mix that is teeming with quality tracks throughout its runtime. He takes everyone on a journey through different regions of the house realm with his own tunes to those from artists like The Martinez Brothers, Endor, SHDWS, Kyle Watson, and VNSSA, along with a hearty helping of artists who call the Bay Area home as well.
One of the things I love most about this showcase of music is the representation of the Bay Area throughout it. Whether it is a Bay Area based label, artist, or sample over a third of this DJ mix is from the Bay. Enjoy!
