Ookay Delivers a Fiery Playlist Ahead of Ultra Music Festival

Ookay is set to drop his second album and play a new live show at Ultra Miami – so he created a playlist for this Very Special event!

Ookay is no stranger to the scene and has built quite a name for himself with his releases that never fail to put a smile on your face and impressive live shows. Over the years he’s delivered lively, buoyant tracks like “Thief,” “Chasing Colors” with Marshmello, and “Lighthouse” with Fox Stevenson, as well as collaborations with Flux Pavilion, QUIX, and Moksi. Now, he’s gearing up for the release of his latest body of work, Very Special, and is performing it live at Ultra Miami this month.

The first time Ookay took the stage for a live show was back at Nocturnal Wonderland in 2017, which correlated with the release of his album, Wow! Cool Album! shortly after. It’s been a joy watching the Southern California-based musician progress in his career and brighten the eyes of fans with his unique projects ever since. His previous live shows incorporated fresh, fun visuals and the producer himself singing as well as playing for the crowd, so fans can anticipate something very special when they head to the Live Stage at UMF this year.

Two years ago I was preparing for Ultra before all hell broke loose and since then I’ve written a whole album that I get to premier at this VERY SPECIAL festival. Ultra has given me such an amazing platform and from being brought up on Mainstage so the Showtek in 2014 to one of my first hybrid live shows. To be able to come back full swing is exciting and I can’t wait to show the world what my team and I have been working on for the past two years!

As Ultra Miami looms just right around the corner, Ookay has gifted us with a playlist stocked full of beats to get you ready for the festival. Songs like Black V Neck‘s “Rewind It Back” and “Bongo” from No Thanks and FOMO will have you up and dancing on your feet, while tunes like “aether” from Somnium Sound and “Rainbow Tears” from RAYVA have listeners vibing along to eclectic melodies.

Check out Ookay’s Road to Ultra Miami playlist on Spotify and make sure you catch him when he takes the stage at the festival this month!
