Showtek Gives Us a Taste of Their New Sound in This Winter Mix

Showtek continues their sonic evolution with their latest single, “Pour It Down” with Verité, and spun up a mix to celebrate its release.

From their early days in the hardstyle scene to their exploration of other genres in the dance music scene, legendary duo Showtek has done it all. While the pandemic might’ve prevented them from dominating the decks at festivals around the world, it didn’t slow down their time spent in the studio and that’s paid dividends with a number of releases. Last year, Showtek continued to drop impressive tunes such as “Pum Pum” and “What Is Love” with Theresa Rex, along with the two-track Mercy EP.

Now, Showtek is roaring into the new year with another unique track in tow, “Pour It Down.” This tune sees the duo look to the realm of piano house for influence to create a feel-good vibe while VÉRITÉ provides the flowing vocals so it can soar even higher. It’s the perfect track to help mark the return of festival season this coming spring and is sure to find its way to speakers all over the planet.

To celebrate its release and help warm everyone up from the chilly winter months, Showtek spun up a mix that’s filled with some of their own tunes along with other gems such as Goodboys remix of “No Beef,” Corrupt UK and GAWP’s “Turn It Up,” and Kalvyn’s “Going On.” So what are you waiting for? We start this mix with our new single “Pour It Down” with Verité which has been very well received by our fans and the industry. For the rest, it includes a couple of tracks we are playing in our sets, including two news cool tracks by Ravekings & Eightblue and Kalvyn, which are released on our label Skink Records. The last two years we have been working on a lot of new music which hopefully results in our new album after the summer. We had a lot of time on our hands to focus on Showtek 3.0 and we are excited to share this with the world!
