Renowned electronic music label Spinnin’ Records looks to expand its global footprint with new hires in the US, UK, and China.

Spinnin’ Records is one of the largest dance music labels in the world. Beginning in The Netherlands in 1999, the label has grown to include global superstars such as Afrojack, KSHMR, Fedde Le Grand, Vintage Culture, and Timmy Trumpet, to name a few. Not only do they enlist an arsenal of talented producers, but Spinnin’ Records also has a variety of sub-labels that bring their own flair to the scene. This includes everything from Spinnin’ Deep and Tiësto’s Musical Freedom to Afrojack’s WALL Recordings and Sander van Doorn’s DOORN Records, among others.

The global impact of Spinnin’ Records doesn’t stop there, either. They manage one of the world’s largest online dance music communities with over 12 million followers across their social media channels as well as 29 million subscribers to their YouTube channel. It’s safe to say if you enjoy dance music – Spinnin’ Records has surely been part of your journey in some way, shape, or form.

Now, with a new year offering up refreshed energy Spinnin’ Records is working tirelessly to continue building dance communities across the globe. They most recently expanded their imprint further into the US, UK, and China with hand-picked new hires that come with a wealth of knowledge specific to each region.

Jack Guppy was brought on as a Data Analyst and Tom Smart as a Marketing Specialist/Project Manager in the UK. With a combined 20+ years of industry experience, Jack and Tom bring an unparalleled understanding of the British dance music landscape.

Ranya Khoury is set to take the reins as Spinnin’ Records’ new US Streaming Manager. Past companies she’s worked with include Universal Music and HITS Daily Double, and she’s intent on bringing new, innovative ways to market and partner with streaming partners around the world.

In China, Sivan Liu was brought on as an International Marketing Specialist/Project Manager and Crystal Du as the country’s International Marketing Manager. Each brings a shared background in artist development, distribution, and marketing strategies specific to the country’s distinctive scene.

Spinnin’ Records was born from humble beginnings in The Netherlands over 20 years ago, but we’ve always been confident that we can support amazing artists from anywhere in the world. These new hires demonstrate how our commitments and beliefs remain as important as ever, as music has no geographical boundaries. Having local expertise on the ground across these key regions will allow us to expand the cumulative reach of our marketing efforts and continue spreading the core values of Spinnin’ Records worldwide.

Zachary Lefevre has been listening to electronic music since the early 2000s. Although his first live show was underground hip-hop, he began listening to a variety of different genres and found his niche within electronic community. After attending more concerts and festivals, Zachary was seeking out a platform that would allow him to express his passion and love for live music and share it with friends, family, and the world. Having always been an avid writer he began to combine the two arts and shortly after writing his first article Zachary became part of the EDM Identity team in August 2015.
