Legendary Producer MK to Make His Debut at Belly Up Aspen

MK

Don’t miss your chance to catch MK when he brings his global chart-toppers “Piece of Me,” “17,” and more to Belly Up Aspen.

Marc Kinchen, better known simply by his initials MK, has been producing some of the hottest records in house music for more than twenty years. After first breaking into the spotlight back in 1993 with his breakout single, “Always,” it has been nothing short of an iconic rise to the top for the storied producer. His smash hits and fan-favorites such as “Piece of Me,” “Back and Forth,” and “Body to Body” have not only solidified his legacy in the upper echelon of house music royalty.

More recently, MK’s powerful collaborations with the likes of Gorgon City on “There For You,” Sonny Fodera on “One Night,” and Annabelle Englund on “Underwater” further cemented his name among the heroes of house music. One thing’s for sure, he’s found himself back atop some of the most extensive festival lineups in the world and is planting his feet firmly at the helm of global house culture.

Next month, house heads from far and wide prepare to descend on the illustrious Belly Up Aspen as MK makes his debut on February 9 and brings his mastery of pop-infused house music to the venue. While MK may be making his Belly Up Aspen debut, Aspen local DJ/producer HAASY returns to the stage with his high-powered club-bangers and tech-house-heaters as he sets the vibes extra proper to start the evening. HAASY’s hit single “Changes,” with beautiful vocal work by Syrenne, has been making the rounds from the emerging producer.

It was a decade ago that Logan Garrison, better known as DJ Lo_G, first took the stage to spin sets for crowds in the snowy towns of Lake Tahoe and Aspen. Originally spinning sounds in the realm of glitch and bass music, he began to develop a passion for all things house as he returned to his hometown and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, DJ Lo_G has become a fixture in the Aspen nightlife scene as he has found a home at Belly Up and regularly warms up the stage for some of dance music’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Chris Lake, Slow Magic, Nora En Pure, and most recently ZHU. Joining the EDM Identity team back in 2018, he’s dug even deeper into dance music and the festival scene. Whether he’s covering events like Mysteryland and shows in Aspen, interviewing artists like Hannah Wants, and reviewing fresh releases, his passion for the entire community shines throughout.
