The eighth volume of Saturate Record’s SATURATED series features a whopping ten tracks from DRANQ, SIGKILL, Dead End, and more.

One thing that makes the electronic music scene so innovative is its space for independent, underground labels to showcase their style in a way that promotes all different styles of the genre, without the stigma to stick to a certain sound or niche. One example of a boundary-breaking label is Saturate Records, which specializes in the realm of bass music while promoting artists from all over the world.

Based out of Hamburg, Germany, Saturate Records has become a hotspot for those seeking fresh sounds from emerging artists within the scene, especially those found on their SATURATED! compilation series. Last year, they began releasing singles each week in the lead-up to the eighth volume of the series, and today, the full release has been unveiled for their global fanbase to check out.

SATURATED! VOL. 8 is a compilation consisting of ten tracks that range in style from artists such as DRANQ, SIGKILL, one2six, and more. Starting things off is Subp Yao’s “Reckless” which provides a blend of trap-style chops with synth grooves, all-encompassing an echoing bassline. Other notable tunes, such as dope’s “Rude Boi“, DJ Ride’s “No Rest, No Sleep“, and Don Piper’s “Waan Fiyah,” feature more of that bass-heavy, grimy sound that’s sure to keep the head-bopping vibe going throughout the compilation.

Carefully curated tracks that grace the compilation include artists from all over the globe – including Dayzero from Japan, coming in hot with their groove-heavy, dub tune “Eye Of The Moon” that quickly became a standout from the collection. Bringing in the gritty vibes with a no-holds-barred bassline, Portugal-based artist Dead End sets the bar high with their tune “You’re All Outta Time.” Further, Obese & Starkey’s “Man Of My Word,” Theoretical’s “Small Gangsta,” and Muadeep’s “Return Of The Ronin” prove to be masterful tracks on the speakers.

With the range of diversity, creativity, and musicality of this compilation, each tune is fit for a vibed-out journey from any bass-music connoisseur. Follow Saturate Records on socials, pre-order the SATURATED! VOL. 8 vinyl on their Bandcamp, and let us know your favorite track in the comments!
