Dr. Ozi Creates a Sinister Atmosphere on "Pull the Pin"

**Dr. Ozi brings dark, ominous elements into the mix ahead of Halloween with the release of “Pull The Pin” as part of his Hive Mind Pt. 1 EP!**

Dr. Ozi has quite a reputation in the bass community. Producing for over a decade, he’s witnessed the scene evolve and has been at the forefront with his cutting-edge style. His discography is littered with quality tracks such as “Pitchforks & Fire,” “Motion,” and “Beauty & The Grim” as well as collab efforts with Soltan, Trinergy, and Ace Aura, among others. After a slew of singles since his Host EP in 2020, Dr. Ozi now brings us a brand-new body of work just in time for the ghoulish holiday with the Hive Mind Pt. 1 EP.

Due out on October 29 via Never Say Die, the seven-track EP plays off the theme of Halloween incredibly well and each track is packed with jaw-dropping bass and haunting synths that only Dr. Ozi could come up with. Additionally, the Hive Mind Pt. 1 EP will be accompanied by a comic book that tells the story of his Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde branding that has been observed in his previous album artwork. It’s easily a Halloween release that you won’t want to miss.

Ahead of the release, we got an exclusive listen to “Pull the Pin,” one of the sleekest tracks that Dr. Ozi has released thus far! This tune starts off with an eerie melody that soon builds up into larger synth hits paired with pitched-up vocal elements. Dr. Ozi creates suspense by cutting these sounds out and slowly building the track up, which makes the drop hit that much harder. A flurry of synths are immaculately placed amongst hard-hitting drums to infect listeners’ ears and different elements are weaved into the track for a cohesive ride from start to finish.

After listening, it’s easy to see that Dr. Ozi knows exactly how to concoct the perfect bass track and continues to further his skills as a musician.
