Tsuruda and Chee Are Trailblazing a Path for Bass Artists to Follow

Tsuruda and Chee prove that they are present-day pioneers in the bass music scene with their new tune “Trailblazer” and ongoing tour.

There is no question that Tsuruda and Chee are madmen when it comes to sound design, but when you put the two of them together magic ensues. Chee‘s unique take on trap, dubstep, and free-form bass mixed with Tsuruda’s experimental hip-hop and avant-garde style, allows listeners to willingly get lost into dark obscure soundscapes. Some might say it’s pure madness, but aren’t all the best things?

If more is what you want from these two artists, they’re here to deliver with the release of “Trailblazer” – a track that bears the same name as the tour they’ve embarked on this fall to get the spooky season started right. This single sets the tone for the next songs to come off the upcoming EP, and that tone is off the Richter scale. The two creatives together in the studio bring us the sass through sound we didn’t know we needed only leaving us wanting more.

With a heavy trap influence that could make anyone want to act up plus the lyrics “I don’t trust a soul, I don’t even trust my bitch” you’re guaranteed to be on your worst behavior until the very last beat. The two sound design kings complement each other so well, it’s a wonder how we have survived this long without a “CHEERUDA” EP before now. This is just a tease of what’s to come off of their new EP so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming release date via DEADBEATS records.

As for the Trailblazer tour, it’s just getting started but is already quickly living up to its name. With New York and California in their rearview mirrors, the two artists are set to touch down in Colorado for a three-day run. After their Colorado stretch, you can try to catch them at several dope venues including the Ivy Rose in Tampa, The Ave in Philadelphia, Iron Works in Buffalo, and more.

This is my first co-headline tour, so best believe I’m pulling up with a bunch of new music I’ve been hiding from everyone (including my managers).

-CHEE

Be sure to take a look at the dates for the tour and let your ears indulge in the madness by grabbing tickets, listen to “Trailblazer” on Spotify or your preferred platform, and let us know what your thoughts are in the comments!
