Choopsie Sets a Vibe Ahead of Dirtybird Campout 2021

Choopsie might be one of the freshest faces to grace the Dirtybird Campout lineup this year, but her mix will show you why she’s one to catch.

Since its inception, Dirtybird Campout has become a home for members of the flock to spread their wings, shake their tailfeathers, and turn off the stress of the world during the weekend’s festivities. Whether you’re someone who loves to participate in their countless activities, grub on some delicious BBQ, or dancing away to the talented artists they curate on the lineup, there’s something for everyone at DBC. Now, with the annual retreat just over a month away, Dirtybird is building hype for the upcoming edition with a mix series and the latest artist to be featured is Choopsie!

Don’t fret if you haven’t made yourself acquainted with Choopsie yet, because she’s one of the newest artists to grace the Dirtybird Campout lineup this year – but trust us when we say that within moments of listening to her unique soundscapes you’ll quickly fall in love. Trained in classical piano, this Los Angeles-based artist developed a love for producing electronic music while in college and released her first tracks in 2020.

Now, in 2021, Choopsie has seen her career truly begin to blossom as she continued to create dreamy, lo-fi meets ambient soundscapes for listeners to explore. She began the year by dropping the Amboy EP on Justin Jay’s Fantastic Voyage and then pressed on by dropping the Accelerate EP with Staghorns. More recently, Choopsie unveiled the Bloom EP with even more chilled-out house grooves for the masses to consume.

Choopsie’s prowess as an artist doesn’t end when she exits the studio either, as she’s already shown signs of greatness behind the decks as well. Already taking the stage at CampINN earlier this year with an impressive set, she’s set to dominate the decks and whisk the crowd away once again at Dirtybird Campout this October. To help set a proper vibe, she’s spun up a mix that features tracks from the likes of Mat.Joe, Baltra, Berzingue, and more – with her tune “Tiles” bringing it to a close.

Excited to debut a new mix with Dirtybird! Beyond grateful to be part of this community and watch as Dirtybird continues to shape electronic music. Hope you enjoy this mix of my favorite house tracks at the moment, it’s a sneak preview of what you can expect from me in October at Campout.
