Sky Society Re-Aligns Frequencies on ‘Heart Beats: Love Loops Vol. 2’

Find a deeper focus and tap into your heartbeat with Sky Society by listening to his latest release, the four-track Heart Beats: Love Loops Vol. 2!

Sky Society is no stranger to creating soundscapes that allow listeners to drift away and be at ease. The Higher Frequency label-boss does just that on his most recent release, Heart Beats: The Love Loops Vol. 2, where each track delicately lifts you up and into a better headspace.

“Heart Beats: The Love Loops is an EP series we created which truly embodies the creative process as well as the inspiration we channel for producing the music,” said Sky Society about the mission of this series. “All the ideas start out as a loop that builds into soundscapes that evolve over the duration of the song. By the time the piece is complete, we’ve probably listened to that track hundreds of times, maybe even a thousand. We view the process very similar to a mantra one would repeat to align with a frequency & offer a prayer from their heart.”

The four-track EP begins with “Feel At Home” – a track layered with silky keys, vocal chops, and smooth saxophone accents that immediately draw you into Sky Society’s mind as a producer. Next is the leading single “Holy Time” featuring the haunting yet eerily comforting vocals of Monstercat’s Ehiorobo. Led by Ehiorobo’s vocals, this tune has an sense of simplicity that is driven by vocal harmonies and percussive loops. The stripped-down production gives the track an in-the-studio feel as if you were there when they were recording it.

As the audio journey continues, listeners are met with the drum loops on “Quite Simple.” An easy-listening track, this one is true to its name and allows listeners to really focus on specific elements in the song. The more you focus on each individual element you become more entranced. Then, Sky Society rounds out the EP with “Coins in my Pocket” which quickly became a personal favorite. He pairs a punchy breakbeat with dreamy synths layered with classic hip hop vocals to create yet another meditative track.

If you are in need a mid-week reset give yourself a break and take a listen to this release from Sky Society, it will give a much needed breather amidst the stresses of life.
