PR!CE Turns Up the Dial with This Summer Mix

Looking to get a dose of the heat that Arizona experiences all summer? Put this mix on from PR!CE because it’s sure to make you sweat.

While the house music scene continues to thrive in places like Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Miami, there’s something to be said about the sounds that are coming out of the scene in Arizona as well. As the sound of the underground continues to take hold of their sun-baked landscape, aside from the AC one of the few things keeping everyone cool is the beats coming from their homegrown talent – and PR!CE is helping lead that charge.

Based out of Phoenix, PR!CE has carved out his own space in the scene since first emerging back in 2017. Dropping absolute heaters that include “High,” “No Matta,” and the Trappin EP to name a few, it’s clear that he’s an artist to keep your eyes on in the coming years. In 2021 he’s continued to show signs of greatness by landing “Shot” on House Of Hustle’s Miami Hustle 2021 compilation while also teaming up with Fox’d and Avenue to create some tunes on The Bromuda Triangle EP that was released on 40oz Cult.

More recently, he looked to inspiration from bots and randoms on Instagram for his latest tune, the self-released “DMs,” that brings a booming bassline, perfectly placed vocals, and infectious groove along with it. To celebrate the release of this tune and the onset of the summer season, he swung by to spin up a mix to showcase both his tastemaking abilities and skills behind the decks. It’s jam-packed with his own IDs and originals, but there are plenty of tasty tunes from the likes of Malaa, KDYN, Biscits, and Uknew as well.
