Wave Point Kicks Off the Summer Sessions Series in Style

The high temperatures of summer are beginning to take hold and Wave Point is here to keep everyone cool with this fresh house mix.

Over the past two decades, few artists have consistently delivered releases and performances quite like Bryan Jones. This Detroit-based DJ and producer has brought forth countless tunes and memorable nights while becoming a staple in the scene as one-half of Golf Clap. Last year, he departed that project and looked to start something new to continue his journey in the house music realm with his solo project, Wave Point, surfacing soon after.

Since his debut as Wave Point in 2021, Jones has gone on to drop a number of heaters for fans to feast their ears on including the likes of “Words,” “Shadows,” and “Different Sounds,” singles that all are building to his debut album Higher Dimension. If the sounds that have arrived so far are any indication of the remaining tracks then expect Wave Point to induce a dose of nostalgia as the sounds of disco and classic house permeate your speakers later this summer.

More recently he released a serious jam called “In The Moment” to help get everyone back to dancing ahead of the summer season. Featuring a groovy beat, strings, brass, and perfectly placed vocals, it’s a throwback tune with a modern twist you should put on if you’re looking to set a proper vibe when hanging out with friends during any pool party or BBQ. And to celebrate the release of his latest single he swung by to spin up a mix to further showcase his mood-setting abilities.

Speaking about the creation of his latest mix, Wave Point said “This mix showcases a few songs from my upcoming album “Higher Dimension” along with some of my favorite funky tracks I’ve been listening to at home and playing at the club now that things are starting to open back up.” Those funky tracks include everyone from Simon Doty and Soul Clap to J.
