Kweku Saunderson and Dai Burger are celebrating Pride Month in style with their tune “I Miss The Club” and curated a fantastic playlist.

Some real magic can happen when the worlds of electronic music and hip-hop collide. While the collaboration between the two genres has been prominently found in the bass music realm, there have been many other instances in other subgenres of the scene where it’s become a match made in heaven. That’s exactly what Kweku Saunderson and Dai Burger set their sights on when they teamed up to create a house heater dubbed “I Miss The Club.”

Simultaneously celebrating Pride Month and the return to nightlife, this tune captures the essence of what everyone felt during the rollercoaster of a ride in 2020 when live events were put on pause. On one side of the track is the fantastic beat filled with plenty of Latin flair that will warm the soul and ignite a fire in your feet. Then, Dai Burger vocals arrive as the other half of the equation and the sass she brings along with her truly takes the tune to the next level. If you hadn’t gotten in a groove yet, this track will surely help guide you back to a state of bliss on any dancefloor you’ve landed on.

To further get your blood pumping and feet shuffling away, these two NYC-based artists curated a playlist of tunes to groove out to all month long with artists like Inner City, BbyMutha, Kaytranada, Shawn Neon, Leikeli47, and more. “Freedom for all. When I got with Dai, I encouraged us to go for more high-energy tracks – so we can all feel free and liberated,” said Kweku Saunderson. “I wanted to create a soundtrack for people to run free and be their true self, that’s the true meaning of Pride to me.”

From the catwalk to the hallways, these jams will keep you boppin’. We really wanted to give people something you can just press play and go on an adventure. Something you can keep going back to for Pride all year round.
