SubDocta Drops Hypnotic Two-Part EP, 'Crystals & Kombucha'

He’s masterfully cultivated his own genre of bass music dubbed the West Coast Wobble and it’s led to a collection of massive releases. Now, after striking up a deal with the label, SubDocta is now back with another appearance on WAKAAN with his latest two-part EP Crystals & Kombucha.

Characterized by deep, subterranean bass and experimental modular work, Crystals & Kombucha builds on the producer’s signature wobbly sound while giving it a deep, mysterious twist. Part one of the EP finds Los Angeles-based rapper Reverie delivering a gnarly verse over a pulsing beat, while part two features some amazing solo production from SubDocta.
