A new era in the American Hard Dance scene has come to life with the launch of TYEGUYS’ new imprint, DYEHARD Records.
Hard dance is a genre that has been gaining traction in the United States for quite some time, and if you ask artists and fans in the scene alike they’ll make it clear that it isn’t slowing down anytime soon. But while the harder styles have seen plenty of support during this time from brands like Basscon, it’s been difficult to find a stable home for hard dance releases for many rising artists. But that will all change after today, as dynamic duo TYEGUYS are have launched their own label, DYEHARD Records.
In their own words, DYEHARD Records is “a home for [TYEGUYS] music, and music from artists that we think deserve a chance to be heard.” And with this hard dance duo at the helm, it’s safe to say that fans can finally expect a higher volume of quality tunes coming from artists in the United States and beyond.
But what would be a launch of a new label without some new music? TYEGUYS has you covered on that front with their banging new track, “IN YA FACE.” When asked about the record, they said it was “fast, hard, and unique” – a testament to the fact that it takes listeners on a speedy musical experience like no other.
Beyond the high-octane beats, the tune highlights the versatility of these two young producers when the first drop seamlessly transitions through a blend of styles as the reverse bass is highlighted with a touch of drum and bass for good measure. After that nutty drop, there’s an eerie, yet uplifting melody achieving a sound only TYEGUYS can emulate. This is all followed up by another monstrous drop that takes listeners straight to the rave with an infectious donk that you’ll be craving to hear off a booming sound system.
It’s been a long time coming for this new era of hard dance here in the US, and it’s exciting that TYEGUYS are claiming their stake in the scene with the launch of their new imprint. If it wasn’t for artists like them who make up the backbone of the community, hard dance wouldn’t exist in America – and arguably, the hard psy genre wouldn’t have taken off quite as it has either. The future is bright for TYEGUYS and DYEHARD Records, and we can’t wait to hear what else they have in store for fans.
