Entel Delivers Self-Titled EP on Grum’s Deep State Recordings

Rising progressive house artist Entel has landed on Grum’s Deep State Recordings with three fresh soundscapes to explore and soak in.

If you haven’t been paying attention to the soundscapes that Entel is creating in the realm of progressive house, you better start now. Coming to speakers around the world straight from Columbus, Ohio, he’s put his mastery of creating immersive environments on display with releases including “Time Lapse,” the Movement EP, and more recently a stunning remix of Gabriel & Dresden’s “Luna.”

Now, he’s caught the ear of Grum and found a home among the ranks of Deep State Recordings with his self-titled EP. Featuring three tracks in total, it offers up a look into the brilliant mind of this rising star and is a truly impressive collection. It kicks off with “Eyes,” which induces the ears with energy and cinematic tones that will quickly have listeners wondering what planet they’ve landed on.

Soon after, the darkness sets in as a brooding bassline, crisp percussion, and twinkling synths arrive with “Patterns,” a tune that will hypnotize anyone and put them in a trance-like state. Those emotions continue in full as the ride Entel has created comes to a close on “Tunnels.” Filled with a driving beat and a chopped vocal sample is a tune that’s perfect for those long voyages to a far-off destination or simply laying in the grass while staring up at the night sky.

“Eyes,” “Patterns,” and “Tunnels” are three songs that show the different sides of my melodic story. Together, they are like an ‘intro to Entel.’ They give a little taste of what type of songs people could hear from me in a set while staying true to my progressive sound. I’m very honored to have these released today on Grum’s ‘Deep State Recordings.’ Thank you for being a part of the journey.

Grant Gilmore’s authoritative voice as a media professional lends credibility not common to EDM journalism. As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment. Whether he’s covering it or not, you can expect to find Grant Gilmore attending the next big electronic music event. To find out what’s next on his itinerary, follow him via the social links below.
