Beats Antique is gearing up to host The Virtual Mushroom across five different time zones for New Year’s Eve on StageIt.
End of the year celebrations have traditionally been spent with friends and loved ones who gather together to say “so long” to the old year and ring in the new one. While that may not be entirely the case as the world heads into 2021, many are still trying to go out with a bang from the comfort of their own homes. To help those staying safe keep the party rolling, livestream events have popped up from some of the scene’s most beloved artists, labels, and promoters, and Beats Antique is joining in on the fun.
Beats Antique is an Oakland-based experimental electronic trio made up of Zoe Jakes, David Satori, and Sidecar Tommy, and have become renowned for their performances over the years. For this New Year’s Eve extravaganza, they’ll be bringing forth The Virtual Mushroom to StageIt for fans to tune into. The festivities will consist of five shows, each to coincide with different time zones offering live music, dance performances, and an anticipated midnight countdown.
Designed by notable digital artist Android Jones, a legend known for his stunning visuals, animations, and plenty more, The Virtual Mushroom is sure to be an immersive experience. Partnering up with Paul Stamets and Beats Antique’s own David Satori, all who enter will be graced with the highest of vibes in the magical mycelium network.
While those looking to attend can “hitch a ride” and have another kind soul pay for a ticket, there are a number of benefits for those who support can gain some added bonuses as well. Those who are the top supporter in each region will also receive an “ultra-special” merch bundle, as well as a personal Zoom session with the band.
- $15 – before the show, participants will get the zoom link to the show with the possibility of a surprise drop-in from David, Tommy, or Zoe.
- $30 – will grant access to an exclusive zoom hangout with Beats Antique that is guaranteed to take place within the first few weeks of 2021.
- $50 – tier gives supporters a sneak peek listening session to the almost completed album for an exclusive listening session.
