Monstergetdown Throws Down a Mix to Mark the End of Fall

Monstergetdown has delivered the final mix for the Fall Frequencies series and it’s filled with house tunes that will make you move!

While the dance music scene continues to grapple with the uncertainty of the future one thing has remained constant throughout 2020 – fantastic house music that has graced our speakers. This year has seen an explosion of tunes from some of the scene’s biggest artists and rising stars alike, and one of the producers who has consistently delivered heaters is none other than Monstergetdown.

Adding some Weapons to his arsenal (eight, in fact) along with Pump Up The Volume on Matrix Funk, Monstergetdown has made it even more clear that he’s one of the artists that stands tall above others in the thriving house music scene in Los Angeles. Earlier this month he delivered another offering of tracks to the gods of the underground with an EP on Understated dubbed Deep Feeling, and it’s sure to make house heads groove their way into the new year in style.

Even though this year was no doubt a rough one for the entertainment industry (especially show-wise), it was a good opportunity for me to be creatively productive in the studio. I was able to release loads of new music in the form of the ‘Weapons’ series via my new label ‘Matrix Funk’, and also most recently, a bangin’ EP on Understated, which the u|s crew and I are all super happy with.

Now, Monstergetdown spun up a mix to help celebrate the release and say goodbye to the autumn months as the winter chill begins to take hold. Kicking off with “Back to Basics” to instantly make feet move, he guides listeners through 30 minutes of pure house bliss as they embark on the pursuit of pleasure. If there’s one thing that’s for certain with this mix, it will make you miss the dancefloor even more than before.
