Artists including Nicole Moudaber, Jamie Jones, Carl Cox, and more will help everyone #DanceAway2020 during Beatport and Absolut’s NYE livestream!
Even though the celebrations surrounding the new year won’t be happening quite the same way as in the past, the dance music scene continues to find new ways to party their way to 2021 safely. Beatport and Absolut had something truly unique in mind for NYE 2020: a massive livestream with the mission to help everyone #DanceAway2020 in the best way possible.
Kicking off at midnight (5am PT) on December 31 with Carl Cox taking over the decks in Melbourne, the livestream will feature some of the finest artists in the scene. In the following hours, will bump through each time zone around the world as the clock strikes midnight. Artists taking the virtual stage will be representing cities like Berlin, Dubai, Los Angeles, and London throughout the livestream as they play their hearts out and say goodbye to one of the most challenging years in recent memory.
So who will be playing? Some of the standouts on the full lineup that Beatport and Absolut curated include Patrick Topping (Newcastle), Nastia (Odessa), TOKiMONSTA (Los Angeles), Honey Dijon (Berlin), and Nicole Moudaber (Barbados). Other artists you won’t want to miss out on include Sydney Blu (Calgary), BLOT! (New Delhi), and Jamie Jones (Miami) as well. And if you missed out on the first performance from Carl Cox to kick things off, he also will be playing a set at the end to guide the underground into the earliest hours of 2021 as well.
