“Orbit,” the haunting, downtempo single by REZZ, receives a stirring visual accompaniment from 3D artist Joe Karava.
Even though this year hasn’t turned out quite as anyone anticipated, REZZ continues to be an artist who has seemingly weathered the storm. Releasing hit tracks like “Someone Else” with Grabbitz, winning her second Juno Award for the Beyond The Senses EP, and being featured in the Underplayed documentary were just a handful of highlights before she graced fans with “Orbit” in October.
The long-awaited, synth-heavy single “Orbit” had her fanbase pulled back into the realm of REZZ’s creation, and now, the sinister track receives a compelling video courtesy of 3D artist Joe Karava. Prepare to be whisked away into her alien-like world, because this music video is the perfect visualization of the chaotic soundscape featured throughout the track. In fact, it’s the perfect way to escape the madness of what’s been happening on Earth, even if it’s just for a brief amount of time.
Set in a galaxy far far away, “Orbit” is the exploration of a blue planet inhabited by strange creatures. Viewers are instantly treated to a journey through galaxies, as REZZ travels in her spaceship to lands never before seen by Earth’s inhabitants. This odd place existing millions of light-years away is shrouded in deep blue and purple colorways, as she lands on its shores. Now, Space Mom brings her intergalactic music to the strange creatures of the land, shrouding them in everyone’s universal language: music.
Understood by humans and aliens alike, REZZ’s music is clearly made for all beings in the cosmos. Check out the atmospheric music video for “Orbit” on YouTube, stream this track on your favorite platform, and stay tuned for more from her in the coming months!
