In dire need of some bass to your face? Little Fohx is here to satiate that craving with a fantastic mix that will keep you warm all season long!
Dallas-based DJ and producer Little Fohx might be one of the freshest faces in the scene, but she’s already making waves and quickly becoming one to watch. Following the release of her 2018 single “Tell,” she showcased her curation abilities in the bass music realm by releasing three editions of her LF Mix series before getting signed to growing Texas collective Baked Dozen.
Since then, Little Fohx has continued to rise through the ranks with her dynamic sound, even in the face of the pandemic. Earlier this month she teamed up with Zoe Zobrist to produce “Out Of My Mind” a standout track that was featured on the debut compilation for Baked Up’s new label Hot Out The Oven Records. But she didn’t just stop there, as Little Fohx also flexed her skills behind the decks as well while taking the stage during EDM Drive-In over Halloween weekend in support of Virtual Riot, Crizzly, and ETC! ETC!.
Now, to help usher in the final months of 2020, Little Fohx has spun up a stunning mix to warm your soul and have you searching for the nearest rail to headbang. Read about what her experience was like this year, press play on the mix below to get a dose of bass to your face, and let us know what you think of her sound in the comments!
At the start of 2020, I wasn’t really sure where I was going and what my plans were for the year but in February, I got signed to Baked Up and I was excited to be working with them. Then COVID-19 hit and quarantine started, and again I found myself not really expecting much to come out of the year.
During those stagnant months, I started surrounding myself around amazing, positive, like-minded people who inspired me and motivated me to push myself more. I began to focus on my goals and really dedicate time in my day to enhancing my craft. I felt like my hard work really started to pay off when I submitted a mix to play EDM Drive-In rave in San Antonio and was selected to open up the main stage- which was an incredible opportunity that I am so grateful for. I also got to release an original song of mine for the first time in two years on Baked Up’s new label, which was another big accomplishment.
I’m excited for 2020 to come to an end but it’s been the most exciting, busiest last few months of my music career and I’m beyond excited for what’s to come 2021.
