Couch Lands has lit up the bass music scene today and Excision turned up the heat with the news about his new label Subsidia Records!

There’s no denying that Excision has been one of the most influential artists in the bass music community over the past decade. From playing impressive sets and dropping massive tracks to creating huge stages and launching curated festivals, it seems as if there’s nothing stopping him on his rise to the top. Now, he’s further proving he’s got even more tricks up his sleeve with the announcement of his new imprint, Subsidia Records.

Having teased the news in the lead-up for the latest episode of Couch Lands that’s taking place this weekend, the announcement is a welcome surprise for Headbangers near and far who are looking for some fresh tunes to immerse themselves in. Marking the emergence of the new label will be not one, not two, but THREE compilations to listen to on Monday, September 28: Dusk, Night, and Dawn.

Each one will focus on a specific style of bass beats and feature a total of 118 tracks, an absolutely insane number of tunes to explore and experience. Dusk features heavy bangers perfect for the nearest rail, Night brings forth the wobbly, wonky, experimental bass sounds, and Dawn brings with it those emotional, melodic bass tunes that will have you feeling some type of way.

Additionally, Excision will be celebrating the debut of the new label with the release of the Excision Subsidia Mix 2020 for Headbangers to feast their ears on as well. And if you’re looking to gear up with some merch they’ve unveiled some fresh selections to check out on their website!

Check out the announcement video in Subsidia Records below, pre-save the Dusk, Night, and Dawn compilations and Subsidia Mix 2020 on Spotify, and stay tuned for more exciting news from Excision about the future of the label!

Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment.
