One of the brands in the dance music scene that has truly shined brightly among the rest over the past six months has been Beatport. Launching the Beatport ReConnect series in the early days of the pandemic, they’ve kept electronic music lovers satiated with amazing showcases that feature some of the top talents in the scene. Last month, they announced and hosted the first part of Together For Beirut livestream to raise funds for local charities.
Teaming up with Electronic Labor Day, who will be hosting the show on their website as well, the second portion of this massive livestream experience will kick off on Sunday, September 13 at 2pm Beirut Time (4am PDT). In fact, this stream goes well beyond the norm as there will be a total of eight, that’s right… EIGHT rooms that will be blasting some amazing tunes throughout the entire run of the show.
Notable names that stick out immediately on the vast lineup include legends in the scene like Carl Cox, Skream, Andhim, Matador, Kolsch, and Pete Tong, but it gets even deeper from there. Other sets that shouldn’t be miss include the ones from Amelie Lens, Luciano, Danny Howard, Eli & Fur, Francesca Lombardo, and Scuba. And there’s a bevy of fresh faces taking the virtual stage as well with Alex Kennon, Wheats, Elif, and Skizzo on the bill.
