Faithless Announce First Album in 10 Years, Release New Single

Renowned UK Dance act Faithless has returned to unveil the first single off their first album in a decade, All Blessed, with a stunning video.

Since first emerging on the scene nearly three decades ago, Faithless has truly become one of the most beloved and influential groups in the dance music scene. Releasing some truly memorable tunes like “Insomnia” and “God Is A DJ” while also taking the stage at iconic festivals like Glastonbury and Creamfields, they’ve been a driving force for many even if their last studio album was released back in 2010.

While fans of Faithless around the globe were satiated this summer with the release of “This Feeling” that featured Suli Breaks and Nathan Ball, they can rejoice as details for their forthcoming album All Blessed have been unveiled. Set for release on October 23, the new album features twelve tunes that showcase the unique style that the band brings to dance music.

In this troubled and increasingly violent world, lyrically the album tries to reflect what has always been the Faithless manifesto: be conscious, be caring, love yourself so you can love others and understand who you are and where you are never polemical but hopefully intelligent and (occasionally!) inspirational – this is music with feeling and words with meaning.

Faithless

To give their fans a taste of what’s in store, Faithless released the first single off the album, “Synthesizer,” that sees Nathan Ball return with some powerful vocals that pair perfectly with the grooving house beat. Additionally, they worked with Strangeloop and [namethemachine] to create a fantastic music video to add an extra dimension to the listening experience.

Speaking about the meaning behind the tune, Faithless said, “This is the track that got us thinking of doing a new album in the first place. A love letter to what we do and the music we make and also a little social commentary on our obsession with technology, musically all rolled into a big bold warm Faithless-y anthem. Inspired by Trevor Horn, Sparks, Jean-Michel Jarre and our own back catalogue!”

Check out the music video for “Synthesizer” below or listen to it on your favorite platform, and don’t forget to pre-order or pre-save All Blessed ahead of its full release in October!
