Carrott and EDMIDtv Announce Virtual Horizon Festival Lineup

Carrott and EDM Identity have teamed up to bring a fantastic lineup of San Diego’s finest straight to your rave cave with Virtual Horizon Festival!

Save the date because Carrott and EDM Identity have put their minds together for an online event featuring a wide array of San Diego artists and collectives called Virtual Horizon Festival. Set to take place on August 22 from 2pm – 10:30pm PDT over on Twitch, there will be plenty of sounds in the realm of house and bass music to get you moving and energized during the weekend’s festivities.

Artists that are set to take the stage include a flurry of members of Backroom SD like Ogawa with his tech house sound, DIALYUP and Izadi who both blend house, trap, and dubstep, and Watson with some future bass vibes. Additionally, Gustavo Cristobal will bring a dynamic set blending a range of genres and Backroom SD’s Founder Stedicam will deliver some quality house tunes as well.

The lineup doesn’t just stop there, as Hive Mind Collective‘s Dante’s Inferno and Wilhem will be heating things up in no time at all with their b2b set. And to add even more flavor to the livestream Family Reunion collective members Malicious and Mayko will bring sets full of bass music while Drew Dapps will throw down a set that will make you move as well.

Ever since my first event, I’ve always been captivated by the work artists and producers put in to create unforgettable experiences for their audiences. Thus, I began my journey in music. I stayed behind the scenes, doing my daily job, but I was always taking away something new from each event, each person. Every day I saw people close to me that I felt should be dominating in the industry. That’s why I’ve created Virtual Horizon Festival.
This livestream will showcase the local talent I believe in from DJ’s, all the way to those working behind the scenes. They’ve put in the work and are still doing what they believe in even during these trying times. The same stays true for Pro Systems. They’re adjusting their highly skilled stagehands to produce exquisite online experiences for the entire community. We’ll see you on the horizon!

Proceeds of the event will be donated to the Musicians Foundation, a non-profit organization that is currently sending grants to accepted applicants to receive funds to assist them during the pandemic.
