STUCA showcases his fiery production skills on “Scorch,” an absolute heater off his upcoming Powerhouse EP!
STUCA is having a breakthrough year and he continues to push the envelope with his untamed take on bass music. After debuting on Never Say Die: Black Label with the Incinerate EP, which put him on the map back in February. This flurry of tunes featured fan-favorite track “Fuck Off,” which has since seen support from artists like NGHTMRE, Hairitage, and Zomboy.
From there, he went on to release “SUS” and “Need Me” in the months following the release while also playing an electrifying set during Excision’s Couch Lands that really stood out as well. Now, STUCA continues his 2020 takeover with the four-track Powerhouse EP, and we secured an exclusive listen to “Scorch” ahead of its full release on July 24.
If you have never listened to a STUCA track before, be warned, they go unbelievably hard and you may experience neck pain from inevitable head-banging. On “Scorch,” STUCA wastes no time and gets right into the action. All chaos ensues on the track as he incorporates distorted synths and bass along with a variety of patterning and breaks.
“Scorch” features three wildly different drops that all showcase STUCA’s innate talent for bass music. The track has an immediate industrial feel to it, lending its hand to the theme of his Powerhouse EP and further solidifying the notion that this release will be turning up the heat this summer.
