Galo Spins a Sensational Summer House Mix

Grant Gilmore by Grant Gilmore
July 12, 2020
in Exclusive Mix

Tampa-based artist Galo has been rising through the ranks of the scene and now he’s spun a mix that gives listeners a dose of that Florida heat.

The current heat wave that has seemed to spread across North America like a wildfire this summer has made it hard to keep cool, especially while the coronavirus pandemic rages on. But if you’re actually looking to break a sweat then have no fears because Galo is here with a fantastic house mix to groove out and dance the day away to.

One of the freshest faces to surface from the thriving house music scene in Florida, Galo has been making a name for himself with original tunes like “Whack,” which just dropped on thriving label Nightenjin. He’s also done some work on the remixing front as well, giving the world some hot takes on tracks like 50 Cent’s “Candy Shop” and Future’s “Move That Dope.”

Now, as we continue to dive deeper into the hottest month of the year and peak of summer, Galo has spun a mix that’s perfect for those days spent in your backyard while getting some sun or practicing your shuffling skills. Speaking about the mix itself, Galo let us know that it’s “19 tracks, and 13 of them are from people who have been inspiring me recently, and the other six are unreleased originals. Every one of these artists is, or soon will be, on your radar. See you guys when the clubs open!”

So what are you waiting for? Press play on the mix below so you can get down and dirty in the comfort of your own rave cave, stay tuned for more stunners from Galo, and let us know where you’re listening from in the comments!

Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment.
