Taska Black and Duskus have given us the gift of pure nostalgia with a fan-sourced music video, sure to leave you longing for the good old days.

Earlier this season dance music lovers were blessed with a beautiful, first-time collaboration between Taska Black and Duskus titled “Be There One More Time.” A dreamy tune on San Holo‘s bitbird label, the song is a flourish of simple, delicate vocals layered over a bouncy beat paralleled by all-encompassing synths. The lyrics simply articulates what It feels like to long for a time simpler than now, a thought that seems more relevant now than ever.

A week before the debut of the song, the duo took to Twitter and asked followers and fans to send old and nostalgic videos of themselves and fan-sourced dozens of clips for the project. A little less than a month later, Taska Black and Duskus blessed us with the final debut of the video, a nearly four-minute compilation of heartwarming family scenes. Young kids dancing with their families, pouting in corners, playing with friends, all sentimental reminders of what life was like before we all grew up.

Taska Black commented on the debut of the song, saying that “It means a lot to see that the song resonates with so many of our fans and we’re able to let them relive their childhood memories. We got so many beautiful photos and videos sent to us from fans and tried to glue it all together into the music video. It still warms my heart every time I see it and that’s exactly what we need during these hard times I think.”

The music video for “Be There One More Time” is a beautiful reminder that as we look to the future, no matter how confusing or gloomy It may seem, we all have the power to tap into gratitude and appreciation for the many beautiful memories we’ve made along the way. Let us know what you think of this release in the comments!
