House music maestro Justin Martin enters 2020 on a high note with a dance floor weapon called “Needs” that is out now on his new label What To Do.
San Francisco-based house producer and Dirtybird co-founder Justin Martin delivers his latest single “Needs” that is the first on his brand new label What To Do. As house music fans and artists alike welcome the new decade, “J Mart,” as he is known to his devoted fan-base, is primed and ready to make 2020 the biggest year of his career.
After helping build Dirtybird from the ground up into what it is today, this step into his own lane is only natural as he continues his rise to house music greatness and explores his own creativity. This has been expressed through the debut release on the label, “Needs,” that is an infectious house banger that features haunting vocals and a beat that you simply can’t help but get down to.
Already drawing support from top-tier artists in the scene during the last half of 2019, we’re excited to see “Needs” receive a full release. Anyone who has been following J Mart for a while knows he loves producing on classic synthesizers, including the iconic Roland TR 808, TR 909, and Moog Matriarch. These traditional sounds find new life within “Needs.” His development of bouncy basslines and sharp snares are sure to move crowds all over the nation this winter.
Letting the music speak for itself surrounding the launch of this label, we can’t wait to see what releases are in store in the coming months as What To Do picks up some momentum. Hopefully, we’ll see more from Justin Martin’s studio and perhaps even a full-length album in the future as his previous release Hello Clouds was a smasher.
Keep your ears peeled for more releases coming your way soon on What To Do and check out “Needs” on your favorite platform. Let us know what you think in the comments!
