Winter hasn’t even formally begun and Paxahau is already heating things up with a massive tease of the Movement Detroit 2020 lineup.

The social media chatter has been steadily growing into a dull roar asking Paxahau for something, anything, relating to the upcoming edition of Movement Detroit. It isn’t even midwinter yet and they’ve delivered with a massive tease of the lineup featured at the upcoming edition of the festival.

Related: Check out our review of the 2019 edition of Movement Detroit so you can get a taste of what’s in store in 2020.

From techno veterans like Drumcode Boss Adam Beyer and Maceo Plex to newcomers Boris Brejcha and Berghain resident Kobosil, this Memorial Day Weekend at Hart Plaza will be one for the record books. House lovers need not fear, this lineup teaser caters to your needs as well: Sound Bar Chicago resident The Black Madonna and Grammy Award winner and six-time nominee Louie Vega are just a taste of what Movement has in store.

Paxahau plans to announce more names via their social channels and website in early 2020 with the full release to follow. If I were a betting person, I’d wager that Paxahau is playing coy with us and will be dropping some even bigger names that will make our collective jaws hit the ground.

Stay tuned for additional announcements, get your tickets now via their website before its too late, and let us know which artist you’re most excited to catch from today’s announcement in the comments!

Grant Gilmore’s authoritative voice as a media professional lends credibility not common to EDM journalism. As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment. Whether he’s covering it or not, you can expect to find Grant Gilmore attending the next big electronic music event. To find out what’s next on his itinerary, follow him via the social links below.
