In anticipation of an epic edition of SnowGlobe that’s on the horizon, we’re getting excited for the upcoming ZHU set with his track “Superfriends”!
Over the years, ZHU has released some of electronic music’s most beloved tracks like “Faded,” “Stay Closer,” “Working For It,” and his most recent release “Came For The Low.” Now, with the upcoming edition of SnowGlobe just around the corner and ZHU being a surprise late addition to the lineup, it seems appropriate to highlight one of my favorite tracks from his first EP, THE NIGHTDAY, to boost the excitement for his set.

Released in 2014, THE NIGHTDAY is full of amazing tunes, but “Superfriends” was the one that made me a fan of ZHU upon my first listen. The track begins with an eerie synth beat, kicks, and snares before the first rap verse and drop come in. When the drop hits and the synth beat continues the groove is on. The funky bass line deepens the vibe and the lyrics give it a dark and hip-hoppy feel. I hope SnowGlobe is ready for an insane set because ZHU is about to have an unforgettable debut.
