Cookie Monsta Makes Monstrous Return with 'Fade To Black' EP

**Back with a vigorous vengeance, Cookie Monsta has whipped up a fat five-track EP dubbed Fade To Black that seriously slaps with a variety of sounds.**

Known for his signature slaughtering styles of dubstep, Cookie Monsta has been an unforgiving force to be reckoned with for years and years. With roots embedded heavily in his homeland of the UK, this dubstep prodigy has cultivated his crushing sound among some of the OG’s in the scene, working with names such as Flux Pavilion, FuntCase, and Doctor P along the ride.

Now, coming off a brief hiatus after studio and tour time earlier in the year, Cookie Monsta is back with a seriously potent production dubbed Fade To Black. This ferocious five-track EP includes some brand-new bangers in addition to older releases and remains raw all the way through.

“Absolute Desolation” perfectly sets the tone as the opening track, complete with a suspenseful intro that rumbles into roaring riddim in no time. Lacerating bass drops and menacing vocal samples are blanketed with an ominous tonality, taking the listener deep through the darkness right off the bat. Aptly named “Freak,” the second song features scandalous samples that foreshadow a relentlessly raunchy drop sure to ignite a headbanging frenzy when rinsed.

Another new track “Don’t Need No Sleep” wields some majorly weird wobbles that will keep bassheads bashing around all night. Previously released favorites found on this EP include “You’re Not From Around Here” featuring Flowdan that offers up some authentic UK dub vibes and “The Witch Hunt,” a wonky wonderland commemorating the Ten Years of Circus Records tour.
