Itsbilly and Monoky Team Up for a Excellent Fall Mix

Grant Gilmore
itsbilly monoky

On the hunt for a fall mix to get you in the groove and carry you through the rest of the season? Look no further than this one from itsbilly and Monoky!

When two artists who are rising through the ranks of the scene come together in the studio, there’s some serious magic that can be made. That’s exactly what continues to happen when itsbilly and Monoky team up, and most recently they’ve produced a fresh EP dubbed Free Bass that is currently making its way up the charts on Beatport as well.

In one corner is Colorado-native itsbilly who has been working hard to cultivate his unique sound and deliver powerful tech house tunes to get your booty moving on the dancefloor. His releases on labels like Anabatic and Hood Politics have stood tall among others and he continues to hone his craft with each passing release.

In the other corner is Monoky, a resident DJ at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles who brings his own blend of underground beats that have graced labels like SONDOS and HOT TRAX. Additionally, this mix maestro has played everywhere from intimate club settings to the harsh conditions at Burning Man to show off his expertise behind the decks.

Together, they’ve concocted a number of tracks that have garnered the attention of labels like Repopulate Mars and NONSTOP. Now they’ve gifted listeners with more music to dance to with the release of their Free Bass EP on Understated Recordings. To celebrate the fresh EP, they’ve tag-teamed a mix that shows off their skills as curators as well to keep your feet warm and moving as we approach the colder months.

Take a listen to their exclusive, hour-long guest mix below, download or stream their collaborative Free Bass EP on your favorite platform, and let us know what you think of the mix in the comments!
