Nora En Pure Shines on Latest EP ‘Homebound’

Nora En Pure

Nora En Pure, the queen of deep house, defends her throne with the latest three-track EP on Enormous Tunes, Homebound.

Nora En Pure continues to enrapture us with her passionate deep house sound, as she once again delivers a stunning new EP, Homebound. The three-track release continues to bolster her already massive year as she has dominated festival stages and intimate club sets from coast to coast. It also showcases Nora’s ability to produce top-notch tracks while constantly balancing a hectic touring schedule.

Homebound delivers a glimpse into her stunning production abilities blending organic elements of strings, keys, and horns into chilled out house beats that are perfect for sunset as well as packed dance floors. Nora has always been a master of setting a mood through her music and this EP proves that her attention to detail allows her to stand out from the often monotonous mainstream productions in today’s dance music scene.

“Homebound” opens the EP with gentle piano fills as they carry the track into Nora’s signature bass kick, paired perfectly with well-polished synths, and immaculate sub-bass stabs. This opening track sets the tone perfectly for the rest of the EP as it takes a turn from etherial beach vibes, to the sweltering underground club. “Dry Sobbing” and “Epiphany” send the EP into her well-defined club sound sure to leave your feet grooving the night away. Both tracks lift listeners to deep house heaven with her one of a kind bass kicks, well thought out synth leads and powerful horn sections.

Nora En Pure has proved time and time again that she is one of the hardest working women in dance music. From constant touring and festival appearances to releasing records from the road Homebound has added another notch in her vast array of experience. Grab it on Beatport or listen to the EP below!

It was a decade ago that Logan Garrison, better known as DJ Lo_G, first took the stage to spin sets for crowds in the snowy towns of Lake Tahoe and Aspen. Originally spinning sounds in the realm of glitch and bass music, he began to develop a passion for all things house as he returned to his hometown and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, DJ Lo_G has become a fixture in the Aspen nightlife scene as he has found a home at Belly Up and regularly warms up the stage for some of dance music’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Chris Lake, Slow Magic, Nora En Pure, and most recently ZHU. Joining the EDM Identity team back in 2018, he’s dug even deeper into dance music and the festival scene. Whether he’s covering events like Mysteryland and shows in Aspen, interviewing artists like Hannah Wants, and reviewing fresh releases, his passion for the entire community shines throughout.
