Academy LA has consistently been booking some of the biggest and best trance acts around. The lineup for the latest edition of their Timeless Trance series is no different as they pulled out all of the stops. Trance fans old and new definitely need to stop by Academy on Friday, August 30, as Dreamstate presents Judge Jules, Richard Durand, and Stoneface & Terminal!
Take a stroll down to Academy LA as they rewind the clock to feature some of the best artists playing classic trance tunes. Headlining the event is a rare performance from none other than the legendary Judge Jules. With a penchant for the harder end of the trance and house spectrum, attendees will definitely get their fill of bangers during his set. Aside from the heavy hitters, his taste and repertoire are unmatched. The last time he was in SoCal was during Dreamstate 2017 and his is not a set to be missed.
Rounding out the lineup are Richard Durand and Stoneface & Terminal. Richard Durand has the incredible ability to throw down heavy tech-trance alongside masterfully euphoric tracks, taking listeners along a roller coaster of emotions. His sets are raw and thick with deep track selections. Here’s to hoping he drops his latest track “A Thousand Times” as well as the 2018 ASOT Tune of the Year, “The Air I Breathe”.
Stoneface & Terminal are a duo who straddle the line of multiple genres. While they can play beautiful uplifting and vocal tracks, they excel at the heavy tech-trance and techno style alongside progressive. You never quite know what they’ll play which helps keep each set fresh and exciting!
