What was your first electronic music event?

Beyond Wonderland 2010

What/who influenced you to attend your first event?

Kevin McCarty, my high school bestie took me to my first rave! Thank you, Kevin!

What is one moment from an event that was special and why?

EDC Las Vegas 2014 – Saturday. circuitGROUNDS was hosted by Avicii that year and it was the absolute best stacked back-to-back list. I never left that stage; I met so many people & the vibes were amazing. I’m tearing up just remembering how perfect that day was.

What is your favorite festival or event?

EDC Las Vegas hands down. I’ve been every year since 2011 and will keep going back. It’s my home and my escape from reality.

What is your favorite electronic song and why?

“Language” by Porter Robinson or “Seek Bromance” by Tim Berg aka Avicii

Both songs remind me of my early rave years and how carefree and easy things used to be.

Who are your favorite artists?

Avicii, Kaskade, Odesza, Duke Dumont, Kygo, Martin Garrix, Illenium, Blau, MK, Camelphat, Ravell, Justin Martin, Mat Zo, Black Coffee, Dada Life, Zeds Dead, Green Velvet, Claptone, The Chemical Brothers, Gesaffelstein, Jauz, Carl Cox, Jax Jones, Shiba San, Gorgon City, Disclosure, Tycho, Bob Moses, Galantis, and Lane 8… just to name a few.

What are your favorite genres?

Deep House and Progressive but honestly I like anything that can get me dancing.

What do you feel your “Identity” is in the electronic music community?

EDM gives me a certain type of drive I can’t get anywhere else. I’ve met so many kind and genuine people and traveled to many places to follow the music. EDM has gotten me out of some difficult times and always lifts my spirits when I need it. This community is my family. Nothing makes me happier than to connect, make memories, and dance the day away.
