The Sponges

After releasing Episode VI: Return of the Sponges earlier this year, The Sponges have delivered a solid house mix for you to groove out to this summer!

Based out of the sun-soaked city of Miami, the duo of Nik and Ryan, better known as The Sponges, has been bringing their blend of classic disco vibes and modern day production techniques to dancefloors all over. Having gained support from established artists and rising stars in the house scene like Wongo, AC Slater, Destructo, and Kyle Watson, it’s clear that their infectious sound is the perfect addition to peak party hours.

It seems like just yesterday that The Sponges returned to the limelight with the release of their EP Episode VI: Return of the Sponges on Box of Cats that came as a follow-up to their tunes “Make It Juicy” and “Somebody, Somebody (Satan Is Loose)”. Both tracks on the EP, “I Can Dance” and “Space Funk ’75”, are certifiable jams and will have you grooving right along with the beat.

Now, with the summer season in full swing, The Sponges are keeping the vibe rolling in all the right ways with a fresh mix that will get you on your feet and dancing in no time. Featuring a bevy of house grooves, disco vibes, and funk-fueled beats it’s the perfect mix to hit play on to get ready for a night out on the town or while chilling out with friends by the pool.

Take a listen to their exclusive summer guest mix below to get you grooving away and stay tuned as more is yet to come from this fantastic duo!
