Austin City Limits has announced their 2019 lineup including headliners Tame Impala, The Cure, Childish Gambino, Billie Eilish, Mumford & Sons, Cardi B, and Robyn!
After a lineup that left many stunned last year that featured some powerhouse artists and legends in the scene, many were left to wonder if Austin City Limits could top it for future editions. Today, the festival, which is hosted over two weekends on October 4-6 and October 11-13 at Zilker Park in Austin, has unleashed its full lineup for 2019 and it has exceeded our expectations.
This year, Austin City Limits will be headlined by some of the biggest names in the music scene today paired with some legends as well. Guns N’ Roses, Mumford & Sons, and The Cure will surely be playing some fantastic sets that you won’t want to miss. Tame Impala and Billie Eilish are coming off strong performances at Coachella along with fellow headliner Childish Gambino. Rounding things out on Weekend 1 is Cardi B, while Weekend 2 will see Robyn grace the stage.
Dig deeper into the lineup and you’ll see a plethora of other artists who have been leaving a lasting impression on listeners as of late. From the world of hip-hop, you’ve got names like Lizzo, 21 Savage, and Lil Uzi Vert who will be bringing their best to the stage along with rock and reggae artists like Thom Yorke playing Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, Third Eye Blind and Rebelution.
But it’s the electronic beats that have our attention as they’ve packed some major names in the scene like GRiZ, FISHER, and Jai Wolf at the festival this year.
