Firebeatz are set to bring plenty of energy for their Academy LA takeover on Saturday, May 4. Will you be there this weekend?

The Dutch electronic duo of Tim Benjamin Smulders and Jurre van Doeselaar, better known as Firebeatz, have been on quite the ride since first joining forces back in 2008. Over the years they’ve released countless tunes that still receive play to this day like “Dear New York” and their remake of “Where’s Your Head At”. Now, these two artists will be making their way to Academy LA on Saturday, May 4 for a show you won’t want to miss.

Last year was a major one that saw the duo release tracks like “Rock to the Rhythm” with Yozo and “Blackout” with Chocolate Puma while also combining forces with DubVision to create supergroup METAFO4R. In 2019, things have continued to be productive with the release of their “Sun Is Shining” remix, collaboration with Schella on “Through My Mind”, and fresh EP dubbed Ignite Presents: Club Weapons, Vol. 2.

Now they’ll be taking over Hollywood and keeping crowds dancing deep into the night. Fans can expect a radiant set full of Firebeatz’ dynamic house tracks paired with some big room galore. Insomniac is hosting this special event, and support will be provided by Toney Handsome, Bubblewrappe, and Cliff so make sure to arrive early and leave late!
