Hot off the release of his 10-track EP Very Extra, Dion Timmer announces the name of his upcoming sequel LP, Very Extra II: Enter Achroma.
In December of 2018, Dion Timmer shook everyone to their core with Very Extra. Filled with 10 tracks ranging from melodic lullabies to heavier bass tunes, Very Extra was just a taste of the young artist’s shockingly diverse repertoire and complex sound production. Recently, the title of his sequel LP has been released via a single Twitter post. Though we don’t have any news on release dates or potential artist features on the LP, we can expect Very Extra II: Enter Achroma to be an even more stunning addition to Dion Timmer’s arsenal.
Since seeing him for my first time at Lost Lands in 2017, I’ve been utterly enthralled by Dion’s sound. It’s an enchanting blend of bass house, dubstep, freeform vibes, and so much more, and it’s certain to take my breath away each and every time. Few artists can blow me away with each one of their releases, but Dion Timmer is a consistently great artist who will surprise you in the best way every time. Though we’re only three months into the year, 2019 has been a big one for Dion.
Having launched his national Neon Phantom tour with Dubloadz, Dion has been throwing down from city to city. Featuring upbeat bops such as one of my personal favorites “Shiawase” and his latest release “Internet Boy”, as well as blistering dubstep tunes such as an unreleased Excision collab, the tour has received seemingly nothing but positive reviews from attendees.
With dubstep aficionado Kompany as support, in additional to local acts, a Neon Phantom set is sure to include some unreleased heat from Enter Achroma, so if Dion is playing near your area, be sure to attend!
