VNCCII makes us question our own reality with the release of her latest sci-fi infused tune, “CITIZEN A.I”.

After releasing two tracks that clearly were set for stun dubbed “SKYWLKR” and “WASTELAND”, we’ve been waiting to see what Sydney-based producer VNCCII would offer up next. Now, she has recharged and unleashed another heavy hitter for us to get struck by with the release of “CITIZEN A.I”.

Creating a futuristic sound by blending elements of heavy bass, midtempo, and electro together, when you listen to “CITIZEN A.I” it is hard to not find yourself transported to a cyberpunk dystopian setting. The moment the track begins, listeners are met with a beat that relentlessly drives them forward towards the madness that’s about to ensue. Picking up some serious momentum, VNCCII blasts everyone into another realm full of heavy drops and glitchy sounds that will have you hanging on for dear life as you descend deeper into the action.

““CITIZEN A.I” is the first taste of my cyborg avatar who will be spearheading the brand and the music. In this song, I question whether she is a friend or foe to humanity as she has gone rogue and can no longer be controlled by authoritative figures. She was once a “weapon” of the State, but now operates alone with her own conscious thoughts and feelings…she’s here to play her own game! You can follow her journey in my audio-visual Ableton live show, so stay tuned 👽”
