McDowell Mountain Music Festival aka M3F is set to return to Margaret T. Hance Park for another dazzling weekend of music, art, food, and local flare. The charity festival will take place the weekend of March 1-3 and host headliners ODESZA, Empire of the Sun, and Umphrey’s McGee with support from Big Wild, Jungle, NoMBe, and Marian Hill among many others.
Set times have been announced and the anticipation of returning to M3F is at an all-time high. After attending my first edition last year, I am ready to get back and have my fill of electronic music, jam bands, and to connect with local artists and vendors. Ages: The festival is all ages. Ages 10 and under get free admission.

- Sealed or empty reusable water bottles
- Umbrellas or low-backed chairs (designated areas only)
- Picnic Blankets
- Non-framed backpacks

- Pets (except service animals)
- Outside beverages/food/ice chests
- Open alcohol outside the Festival grounds
- Illegal drugs

Reminder To Mind Your Belongings:
Unfortunately, many people have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses, and other valuables during this festival season. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, there are opportunistic people who come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting partygoers and it’s important to be mindful of your valuables while at M3F.
