On December 28-29, get hyped up for the new year at HiJinx in Philly featuring sets from Bassnectar, ODESZA, and more!
With so many New Years events going on, it’s so difficult to settle with just one. If you’ve already got something planned for New Year’s Eve and New Years Day, why not make it a several-day-long celebration? On December 28-29 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA, gear up for 2019 at HiJinx! Featuring appearances from Big Gigantic, Ganja White Night, and many more, HiJinx is bound to be a premier New Year’s destination for music-lovers of all kinds.
Get ready for bass in your face with Bassnectar and wobbles with Ganja White Night on the first night. Also joining the bass portion of the weekend is Whipped Cream and Dorfex Bos, with Illenium bringing the feels on the second night. Big Gigantic and GRiZ will be coming in hot with the funk while RL Grime showcases his trap-infusion/future bass tunes on Day 1. ODESZA is headlining the second night, and I personally can’t wait to hear some of their new VIP edits of A Moment Apart. Other HiJinx additions include Denzel Curry and Flatbush Zombies making up the event’s offering of rap and hip-hop, as well as Vanic, XAI, and Kaivon.
Though the lineup may be smaller and more intimate than other New Years festivals, HiJinx does a great job capturing artists from multiple genres. The entire lineup is solid, but if there’s one artist I would definitely recommend catching, Whipped Cream is one of my absolute favorites in the game right now as far as bass music goes.
