Attention, Aussies: Ultra Australia 2019 is bringing huge talent, an additional stage, and an extra night!
Hot on the heels of the sold-out “Road to Ultra Austrailia” in February of this year, UMF has announced its phase one lineup featuring world-class acts for this year’s expanded Ultra Australia festival. Headliners include Adam Beyer, The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, and the DJ Magazine’s #1 DJ for the third consecutive year, Martin Garrix.
Expanding to two nights, two locations, and two stages, Ultra Australia is set to approach the epic power of UMF’s flagship festival in Miami each March. Night one of the festival will take place in Melbourne on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Flemington Racecourse. Night two will take place on Sunday, February 24, and will take us up the east coast a bit to Parramatta Park in beautiful Sydney. Joining the festivities will be the dancing Ultra Angels, host of Ultra Worldwide Damian Pinto, and #1 DJ photographer, Rukes, as well as many more yet to be announced artists from the world dance music scene.
As part of the expansion, UMF announced the techno-heavy Resistance Stage headlined by Don of the Drumcode, Swedish producer and DJ Adam Beyer. The addition of the Resistance stage will give fans the opportunity to experience a nice diversity of talent over the course of the festival. As always, the main stage will be bringing top international superstars with The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, and Martin Garrix making their Ultra Australia debuts.
