HARD Day of the Dead is making a triumphant return to Los Angeles and in case you need a hype playlist for the drive there, we got you!
Are you going to HARD Day of the Dead or Escape Halloween? This was the most pressing question come October of every year up until 2015. I was actually at the last edition of HARD DOTD and I remember the year after they went into hibernation that caused a flood of people to other Halloween events. In the past, the events would take place the same weekend and you could split your time doing two days of one and one day of the other. However, this year you’re in luck: you can easily do both!
This year, HARD Day of the Dead will be resurrected as a single day event on November 3 at the Los Angeles Historic Park located in Downtown LA. This date is actually extremely accurate since Dia de Los Muertos (the actual Day of the Dead) takes place from October 31 to November 2. Although it’s only a single day the lineup is packed with some incredible house artists. Since we all know that traffic builds up in LA, I’ve gone ahead and created a playlist you can listen to while you make your way to the venue.
There’s always a lot of hype when a festival goes on hiatus and then returns and this is no exception. I think we’re all very excited to see what kind of event this will be and how it will be received after having been absent the past few years.
