Insomniac Officially Announces Cancellation of Sacred Valley Festival

Insomniac’s latest festival offering that was to bring psytrance, house, and techno for a weekend full of underground vibes has officially been canceled.

It seemed as if the announcement of Sacred Valley came out of the blue back in July, and it was one that definitely caught us by surprise. Set to be hosted at the end of September, the news of the debut edition of the festival gave fans little time to decide whether they’d be making the trek to Los Coyotes Indian Reservation.

Set to feature a lineup that offered some of the top names in the psytrance scene along with a jam-packed house and techno stage that would be any shuffler’s dream, it even had many canceling their plans for CRSSD Festival to attend this new party. The hype was definitely building for the debut edition that was intent on featuring a quality experience paired with the music, and many were excited to experience something new from Insomniac.

Earlier today, rumors began to swirl on social media from artists, vendors, and even partner Psytribe USA that left many to think the future of the festival was uncertain but many were hoping that the news was not true. Just moments ago, Insomniac Events officially released a statement regarding the cancellation of the event, citing that they were not going to be able to deliver the experience that had been envisioned.

Full refunds for all who purchased tickets and vehicle passes will be received in 5-7 days.

While the debut edition of Sacred Valley may have failed to launch, we’re hopeful that this festival is granted a second chance as the pairing of psytrance with house and techno would have made for a magical weekend.

Stay tuned to their social channels below for more details surrounding the potential return of this festival in the future.
