With a packed house and 600,000 tuning in on BE-At.TV, Carl Cox took over RESISTANCE Ibiza for a birthday celebration fit for a king!
Every Tuesday night during the summer season, Privilege Ibiza morphs into a wild escape for the underground sound enthusiast with RESISTANCE Ibiza. With beginnings that blossomed through the Ultra brand in 2015, RESISTANCE was unleashed onto the masses with a focus on keeping the underground vibes alive with the biggest and best techno superstar line-ups. In 2017, RESISTANCE would find its home at one of the favorite stomping grounds of Carl Cox, Privilege Ibiza, and with the new series underway, summer on the electric island would never be the same!
Now, any true techno extravaganza would not be complete without one of the most iconic pioneers of the scene and last week history was made as the sold-out event did away with any fleeting question as to whether or not Carl Cox is still our one true king. As the third party in the nine-week summer series that boasts the crème de la crème of the techno industry, Carl Cox pulled out all the stops with a little help from Jamie Jones, Nic Fanciulli, and Eric Powell to deliver an experience unlike anything Privilege has seen before!
Fans from all over the planet tuned in to BE-At.TV and thousands hit the dance floor with gusto, craving those dark and festive techno kicks under a backdrop of manic strobes and energy soaked laser light shows. Unified as one, the techno universe arrived in full force to celebrate the birthday of our most beloved and successful beat maker! I can only imagine how amazing it will be to look back on this night as the birthday celebration that broke records! A major congratulations to Carl Cox, RESISTANCE, Privilege Ibiza, and all the fans who made his day so massively special!
